Coaches of the Real Madrid Foundation will train the participants in the Foundation's football camps in Bulgaria, which will be held for the first time in Bulgaria during the summer of 2025.

The collaboration between the Real Madrid Foundation and its Bulgarian partner, the Friends of Sports Foundation, is deepening with the extension of their cooperation agreement. This partnership encompasses both the Real Madrid Foundation's Social Sports Schools and the launch of summer football camps (clinics) for children in Bulgaria for the first time.

Registrations have started for the first children's football camps (clinics) of the Real Madrid Foundation, which will be held in Bulgaria in 2025. The organizer is the Friends of Sports Foundation, the official partner of Real Madrid in Bulgaria

The meeting was attended by Elena Fernandez and Alejandra de Benito from the Real Madrid Foundation, Nikolina Angelkova, honorary president of the Friends of Sports Foundation and partner of the Foundation in the Real Madrid Social Sports School in Vidin, Svetlina Valcheva - coordinator of the school, and Svetoslav Petrov - a member of the coaching staff who works with the children from the school

The best athletes and coach of Vidin for 2024 were awarded at a special ceremony in the city. Sports clubs nominated a total of 77 athletes in two categories - women/girls and men/boys

Every year, children from Vidin, who train at the school, travel to various European destinations to participate in the annual "Copa Alma" tournament, organized by the Real Madrid Foundation. The tournament brings together various social and sports schools from Europe, which are part of the foundation, to play and learn together

At the invitation of the mayor of Belogradchik, Mr. Boyan Minkov, children from the Social-Sports School in Vidin visited Belogradchik, where they played several friendly football matches and then explored the fortress and the rocks.

In 2024, children from the Social-Sports School in the city of Vidin visited the Baba Vida Fortress and the renovated museum several times. Short discussions were held, and their knowledge of their hometown was tested.
